5) Niruddha:

It is the controlled and disciplined state that the brain is in. This is the basis of self-realization because the mind acts like crystals in order to channel its energy towards total concentration and attaining the state of complete equilibrium.

The three states that are mentioned above are regarded as the basis for the development of stress-related situations, as they create the immense amount of tension that manifest as symptoms in the physical, mental, or the emotional realm. The two last mental states are extremely helpful in managing the effects of excessive stress.
